International Children’s Day Festival - April 26, 2020 - Jackson Park, Hendersonville
The 22nd Annual Children's Day Festival is a multicultural event designed to respect children's personalities and to celebrate their happiness. Families will enjoy live entertainment, inflatables, kids raffles and delicious food from around the World.

Event is a Rain or Shine Festival
Submitting a vendor application does not guarantee entry into the festival. If accepted, a confirmation notice, contract and request for payment will be sent to you via email.
Due to the increasing popularity of our festivals and limited space availability, Hola Community Arts will accept a limited number of food, craft, and information booth vendors through a selection process. In order to provide everyone a fair opportunity to participate, vendors will be chosen by a selection committee. Those selected will represent a variety of foods, attractive displays, and competitive prices.

- Food Vendors: $250 (20' x 10')
- Vendors: $150 (10' x 10')
- Non-profit Vendors: $100 (10' x 10') *Must provide 501c3 Documentation.

Inclement Weather:
International Children's Day will take place rain or shine. The event may be shortened, suspended, or concluded in the event of severe weather. These public safety measures are in place to provide a safe environment for all and your cooperation is appreciated.
No Guarantee of Results:
While we are confident that International Children's Day presents ample opportunity for vendors, The Festival does not warrant or guarantee any particular results from vending at International Children's Day nor does it guarantee any particular number of attendees during the event.

Security and Liability
Hola Community Arts provides general grounds security throughout the event but is not responsible for damage to, loss, or theft of property belonging to an exhibitor, his agent, employees, business invitees, visitors, or guests. Each exhibitor shall carry its own appropriate insurance.
All exhibitors shall at all times protect, indemnify, save and hold Hola Community Arts and/or any person, organization or corporation for whom Hola Community Arts contracts with foregoing harmless against and from any and all losses, costs (including attorneys’ fees), damage, liability, or expense arising from or out of or by reason of any accident or bodily injury of other occurrence to any person or persons, including the exhibitor, its agents, employees, and business invitees, which arises from or out of or by reason of said exhibitor’s occupancy and of the exhibition premises or a part thereof.
The decision of Hola Community Arts shall be accepted as final in any disagreement between vendors or in the decision to remove from the show without refund any exhibitor or his/her representative performing an act or practice which, in the opinion of Hola Community Arts is objectionable. All matters not covered in this agreement are subject to the decision of Hola Community Arts. If legal action must be taken, vendors will incur all legal fees.
- All food vendors must comply with all Henderson County Department of Environmental Health Temporary Food Service Permit requirement and NC “Rules Governing the Sanitation of Food Service Establishments” requiring food service operators at festivals and special events to obtain a "Permit to Operate" from the local health department before starting operation. http://www.hendersoncountync.org/health/web_pages/environmental_health/environmental_health.html
- A person engaged in business in North Carolina and selling tangible personal property, and certain digital property at retail, or rendering a taxable service at specialty markets, flea markets, fairs, festivals, sporting events, entertainment events, and other events and functions must register with the North Carolina Department of Revenue and is required to collect and remit sales and use tax.
- Vendors are not granted exclusivity on any products unless specified in writing by Hola Community Arts.
- Each vendor also has full responsibility of workers while at the festival. Vendors assume liability for any claims or damages resulting from their booth/fixtures.
- Vendor agrees to set-up and sell only in the assigned booth space. Any set-up outside the allotted space will incur an additional booth space fee.
- The booth space must operate all hours of the International Children's Day Festival and vendor may not leave prior to close of the festival. Roaming the site or selling from multiple locations within the festival site is not permitted and could result in removal from the event. No early breakdown.
- No Vendor may sell items that promote hate or violence to individuals or groups. Items must be in keeping with the values of International Children's Day and we reserve the right to ask a vendor to not sell or display certain items.
- Festival staff shall have full power in the interpretation and enforcement of all policies contained in this agreement and may make additional policies as necessary for the proper conduct of the Festival.
